"LIfe is mayhem...be mindful"

For Dina, yoga has been a way to become her own healer, in body, mind and spirit.  First as an athletic pursuit, then as a way to heal injuries, and then as a catalyst for her to heal her own heart.  What started out simply as a physical endeavor, yoga has become the daily "sadhana" or tool that sets her free.  Yoga touches all aspects of our lives, and Dina has learned this through experience.

No matter where you are in your experience of yoga, whether you are afraid to step on your mat for the first time, or working towards more refined alignment, or coming back to the mat after an injury, Dina will meet you where you are.  Dina's understanding of anatomy, and love for movement studies, allows her to be a mirror to students of all levels as they seek a deeper understanding of movement within their own body.

Dina loves to teach students from all walks, and has a love for teaching the beginner.  On her own journey, Dina suffered a series of injuries due to poor alignment, and movement patterns on the mat. This is what drives her passion for explaining why we do the things we do on the mat.  Dina believes that if her students can understand the "why" then doing the "what" is a natural response. This approach to teaching beginners sets them up to practice with the freedom and strength that safe alignment can bring.
